Chou Ra2yak ("the app", "we", "us") is a Lebanese would-you-rather game. It is built to be fun and anonymous, and we collect as little as possible. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or any sign-up — the app works anonymously. We collect:
- An anonymous device identifier: a random ID created on your device the first time you open the app. We use it only to remember which questions a device has voted on (so a device counts once per question).
- Your votes: which option you picked. Votes are combined into aggregate results and are not tied to your identity.
- Push notification token (optional): if you allow notifications, your device's push token is stored so we can send occasional updates. You can turn notifications off any time in your device settings.
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, or any sensitive personal data.
How we use information
We use this data only to run the voting game and show aggregate results, to avoid repeating a question on the same device, and — if you opt in — to send push notifications. We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your data. Aggregate, anonymous results (vote percentages and totals) may be shown publicly in the app and on this website. We rely on service providers (such as hosting and push-notification delivery) solely to operate the app.
Data retention
Anonymous votes and device identifiers are kept to keep results accurate. You can clear the app's data or uninstall the app at any time to remove the identifier stored on your device.
Children
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will appear on this page with a new effective date.
